Many years ago, we met at Baylor College of Medicine while co-facilitating a challenging group. Quickly, we realized how powerfully we worked as co-leaders and how much we trusted one another. Participants found the experience accessible, effective, and impactful; our peers sought our consultation about how to create similarly lasting change in the groups they facilitated; and we enjoyed every minute of working together.

Over the last 25 years, we have both individually maintained thriving psychology practices that include work in various settings as well as organizational and philanthropical leadership roles; what was missing was our singular chemistry. Hence, in 2017, we began the journey to recreate that synergy; this led us to what is now TherExec. Your family enterprise can leverage our joint expertise in complex human behavior to create effective, fulfilling, and dynamic interactions that drive the success of your business.

Good work takes time.

Initial change can happen quickly. Lasting change is ongoing and requires patience and investment.

The Way We See It

Leaders are humans too.

Executives bring all of themselves to the table. Maximize authentic personal strengths to add professional value.

Healthy teams require effort.

Families and healthy teams require work on trust, safety, connection, commitment, and accountability to function effectively and get results.

Relationships drive success.

It matters that team members
can collaborate effectively. Creating a cohesive team makes work more effective, rewarding, and FUN.

Communication matters.

In order to implement effective strategies, leaders need to understand their own communication profiles and those of their teams.

Conflict can be healthy.

Once trust is established and empathy is communicated, disagreeing well can be a powerful change agent.
